2005 Mercury Bigfoot 4 Stroke Efi
While cruising recently at approx 4800 rpm a constant beep was heard and the engine shut to probablly 1/4 of the normal power. I am aware this is usually a temperature alarm and the motor was "peeing" as it should. Where is the thermostat located to check, and what other possibilities do i have? The motor runs fine besides this happening when running at full throttle. Thanks
