I was out running around today and ended up hitting a hidden stick when I ran through a weed line. I felt a bump when it hit so I slowed down to an idle to make sure everything was ok. We continued on for about 15 min then stopped to fish. I noticed right away that the engine would sputter at idle speed. I thought it might have been something in the fuel line since it acted like it was struggling to get gas. I tried pumping the bulb but that didn't seem to make a difference. The problems seems to go away when we get up to cruising speed but as soon as I come back to idle it happens again.

I'm not sure that hitting the stick caused the problem but I've had zero problems with that engine until then. A buddy of mine thought that I might have an air-lock in the fuel system. Any tips or ideas?
