I have a twin honda 130's, 2003. They both were submerged but did not take in water into the systems. I replaced some electrical connexions and a Slave starter silinoid. After draining the fuel system, replacing the filters and using a new tank of gas, they run/ idle well. I have not sea tested the motors yet. The issue I ran up on, is that the alarms are sounding on Both engines, They are not staying on, but beeping consistantly. I have unplgged the Kill Switches, because I dont have the caps for them but dont think this is the cause of my problems. One engine does is consistantly, the other engine will do it, and then stop for maybe 20 seconds and restart the beeping, this engine is not consistant in the amount of beeps, only that when it beeps, the beeps are spaced consistantly. Any thoughts?
Thanks for the help.

Were the remote controls submerged? How can we be submerged and NOT have water contamintion internally? What are you leaving out?

Re: 03 honda 130 sensor problems

The engine hoods must have kept the water out, although there are water lines inside the hoods also. The hot wire connections were eaten away from the batteries on the engine, thus replacing the silinoid. Oddly enough there was no water in the oil, and after sitting for 6 months after they were raised, they still started when I replaced the electrical connections. There was Water in the Gas Filters and some came out of the drain screw when I drain the fuel from what I think is the Fuel pump.
The entire boat did not go under, only the back end. The back of the boat lift collapsed. All controls and guages are in perfect condition.
