Hit a stump. The prop is not damaged. The prop and the prop shaft do not turn under power. The prop and shaft do turn by hand. Any help? Thanks

Broken driveshaft probably right where it goes int the pinion gear NOT the most robust of lower units
Motor still pees water when started up, Wouldn't the drive shaft have to be turning to get water stream?
Post #5 tells how to remove the driveshaft, parts go by serial# on mercs. What is the procedure for removing the driveshaft on these motors. Thanks
Is there a bearing or gear that is pressed on the end of the driveshaft? There does not seem to be much info on removing the shaft. I have changed the water pump before but, never dug into the lower unit.Post #5 tells how to remove the driveshaft, parts go by serial# on mercs.
