'03 60hp Yamaha

I'm looking at buying a boat with a 60hp Yamaha on it. Is there anything I need to know or fear about the '03s? My know-it-all neighbor says the cylinder walls are too thin.<br />Thanks!

Here in Aus Yamaha sell heaps of 60s: F60 and T60 fourstrokes and the 60F twostrokes. I am unaware of any complaints on any of the 03 range of 60s. I coughed the extra for the T60 but my cousin has the 60F and he loves it... 240 hours with no problems since Nov 03. The only problem I've had was water in the lower leg due to a cracked filler plug gasket. Hope this helps, I'm sure if there is a problem, someone here will let you know.
