Trying to fix this problem and driving me crazy .
02 Grady , twin 225
changed all fuel filters on both motors , one runs fine the other runs a few minutes at idle or any rpm then cuts off . had water in fuel and but not now . As long as i pump hand bubble its fine at any rpm. is it possible water made it to low pressure pump and killed . I would think if is broke it should not run at all ? Unless I'm filling vsp tank when i pump bubble . Any advice would be great . It all started with water prob . Thanks in advance !

its possible the feed pump failed.
check the 5 amp feed pump fuse.
if the pump locks up it typically blows the fuse.
if it did then you will also need to clean the vapor seperator and high pressure pump filter.

could it also be possible that the relay is bad ?

I doubt it, the main relay also supplies voltage for the ign, high pressure pump and a few other items.

Would there be a code on ecm that would tell me pump was bad ? Just not to excited to throw a $500 part at it . Just want to make a good decision .
