Does anyone know what I need to do if my idle circuits don't seem to be working properly?.....I adjusted the linkage to raise up my rpm's but would like to figure out the problem and get it back to normal.....My trolling speed went up a little bit and its too fast....

If I understand correctly the carb re-build kit dosen't come with any parts for the idle circuits.....

Is there a way to clean the idle jets without messing anything up?....The mechanic blew it out with carb cleaner but it didn't do anything....

Outboard will sputter and pop every once in a while and stall...Won't start back up until I put it in neutral and give it some gas.....Thanks in advance for any suggestions......Warren

Step 1) Have the carburetors cleaned. That means taking them off the engine, taking them apart, soaking them in carb cleaner for three hours and then puting them back on.

Step 2) Get out your service manual and set the linkage and the carbs according to the manual.
