This is brand new 2012 model - tiller with electric start. I'm in the 5th or 6th hour of braking in. When quickly I go down from higher RPM right down to idle, motor will die ~50% of times. This is regardless if it is in Neutral or Forward. When I slowly bring it down to minimum RPM it will stay on and work fine for the most part. Since it's brand new I guess I should go to the dealer but I was wandering if this could as simple as adjusting the idle RPM to a bit higher...

Welcome to the forums,

Set idle rpm speed screw a bit higher and test if betters, probably at very low rpm, check with a induction tach, that way will know for sure actual rpm's and not guess. If problem continues, take to dealer as it's under factory warranty.

Yep. Verify the idle speed. If the problem continues, have your dealer look at it. That's why you have a warranty!
