Towing big 3 & 4 rider tubes with a pontoon?

Ok, me again.. I purchased a 1998 Crest 22' toon with a 120 Force by Mercury & a Power Tech s/s 15 pitch prop. It tops out at about 25 at WOT according to the spedometer. We are getting ready to purchase a towable, and are looking at the 8' wide couch looking things that seat 3 people. Will these tow ok behind a pontoon like I have? I hate to spend $300 bucks or more just to find out that the toon won't pull the darn thing! What are your experiances? Thanks!

I bought a huge 3 person tube called "Paparazzi" @ Sam's club last year. It tows good, even with adults on it. But the toon just does have enough speed to whip it across the water. It tries to track behind the boat no matter how much you turn back and forth.

Plus I have a ski bar.

One other tip, I brought this tube at Sam's Club for around $200, I belive.
Overton's wanted like $400 or better. But Sam's only offered boating supplies for a month or so in the summer.

I just got the sportsstuff "slalom sally"and it works as advertised. Its a steerable 2 person tube that is pretty easy to control. All the riders from age 8 to 40+ didn't have much trouble steering the tube outside the wake with a 60' rope. With 1 rider it will even do 360* spins which is very entertaining when everyone first attempts it. I got it 50% off at the marine store that starts with an O, only 129$

Thanks guys. We opted to get a Rave Diablo 2 rider tube and a Rave Hydro two person race boat for the kids for about haf the price as one of the large ones. Picked them up at Academy for about 40% off retail. Maybe next year we'll move up to a monster towable for 3 or 4 people once I get used to the boat. Hoping to borrow one from a buddy sometime to see our our boat pulls it before I spend the bucks.
