Please help, clutch dog replacement Force 125

How do I get the lower end apart? I have it removed from the rest of the engine. Do you remove the drive shaft first or the prop shaft. I am trying to replace the clutch dog. Please help.

    I hit a rock!Now boat won't go.

I hit a rock and mangled my prop. I replaced it but now the drive will only stay engaged at very low speeds. I have an '87 force 125 outboard. Does anyone have any idea what I broke? I am a competent and certified auto mechanic, but I am pretty new to boats and drives.
