Would anyone know how to change the water pump on a mercury mark6 ser.# 900878. This has the auto gear shift with a spring attached There is a trick to removing that spring , and I would like to know how.
Have a mercury Mark 6 Serial #900878. I need to change the water pump impeller. It has the automatic gear select. I know that there is a trick to removing and replacing the spring at the bottom. Anyone have that trick they can pass on to me.
