    40hp vs 50 hp yamaha

    What's the 10hp difference were the horse power hiding , carbs .. Reed valves ?? Have a 89 40hp yamaha would like more speed .

    Lead Or No lead

    I have a 1969 6hp evinrude motor and my manual say to run lead gas . Now I know I am not even going to atemp to use lead aditive . But what oil should I buy and any fuel aditive octane boster ? Dont want to burn it up. I know the lead help out in the lube deptartment Thks bb
