    @ stupid questions. One, Is all 80-90 lube the same as long as it has the GL-5 rating on it? Can I use regular 80-90 that is packaged for a differential in my boat? And second what spark plugs should I use in my motor? I am finding conflicting answers. Thanks, Jdt

    76....... 4hp water flow.

    Where does the water come out of the motor on the M4606 4hp. I had it in the barrel and I didn't see any water coming out. There was 8 small holes on the shaft that I could feel exhaust coming out of. Does it come out of the prop area? Thanks, jdt.

    how fast?

    I have just aquired a little 4hp rude, it was my grandpas. Hasn't been run in a few years. It is a real clean looking motor. I need a manual for it to start but what should I do first with the motor? Any recomendations on where to start with it. thanks, jdt

    68 evinrude 55hp

    I have a 68 evinrude 55 hp. It runs great at low speeds up to 18-22 miles/hr. When I throttle the speed up it bogs down and doesn't go. I then have to back down the throttle and it will resume speeds upt 18-22 miles/hr. Any thoughts? The butterflys open wide up and its like it starves for fuel.
