    Don't know were to start

    I have a 1978 115 Evenrude it cranks good and will riv up with the cranking lever pulled up and it will idel. But when I put it in gear to go forword it won't go but about 8mph.     motor trim

    I had to remove my automatic tilt and trim on my 115 Evinrude out board motor.Is there some way of knowing where to set the manual tilt pin other than trial and error? It has four different postions.

    Oil mixture

    Hey I'm new to the boating game so please bear with me. When I returned from over seas a friend of mine gave me a 1978 Bomber Bass boat with a 115hp. Evinrude motor on it. The motor fired up and ran fine. What I need to know is what type oil to mix with the gas and how much?
