    Is it ok to take a boat that is normally used in fresh water and use it in salt water? If so, what precautions should I take?

    Cracked Block???

    My 140 mercruiser is leaking on the top left of the ingine. Right where the exhaust manifold meets the block. Might be where the the water manifold (?) is. To the best of my knowledge, there is no water in the oil. Do you think it is a cracked block or a blown gasket?
