    Can someone explain the plug indexing process for a 1997 150 HP Oceanrunner? I keep reading that it needs to be done but I'm unsure about why and don't know the procedure for this engine. (Moddel is 150EXEU)

    97 150 HP Johnson Oceanrunner Powerhead

    I have a 1997 Johnson Oceanrunner 150 HP, Model 150 EXEU. The powerhead recently "blew up" while I was running at about 4300 RPM, it started a "rattling" sound and died. When I tried to restart, the rattling continued but the motor quit again. On the 3rd try, it locked up and will not now turn...
