    Can Overheating spindle cause spun props...

    Is it possible, due to salt water clogging of passages, ( and admittedly poor maintenence and flush out that the water flow would be so poor as to cause the propeller spindle to get so warm as to spin a prop?????????? Or, say 3 props?? Thanks, Mark BTW, water pee is good, draining upon...

    Spun Prop or worse? & stuck L.U.

    We spun the prop on the stbd. Yam 225 OX66 last fall. Re-hubbed it last month. Spun it again 22 miles out. Mechanic says it might be a clogged water passage near the hub, overheating the shaft and causing the slippage. Might be a problem to fix that, though, the splines have stuck the LU into...

    cold start ok, warm start - NO

    Upon shutoff w/ warm motor - turning key got nothing- Screwdriver shorting out starter/solenoid - starts up OK. If I shut down, then quick turn the key, she starts. In the morning, cold, she starts fine... Solenoid?
