    60 HP 2 stroke running rich and fouling plugs

    My 2 stroke 60 HP Yamaha runs great then plugs get fouled after 4-5 hours. Plugs look oily. As a semi-novice, can I adjust the fuel/oil mixture without getting into too much trouble? If so, how? Or do you have other ideas? thanks a bunch

    60 hp Merc or Yamaha?

    I am on a lake with a 60 hp limit and want to water ski. I have heard that Merc's have more oomph than Yamaha's of the same hp(both 2 strokes). (I like the Yamaha for it's reliability) But, is the Merc significantly more powerful out of the hole?

    best 60 hp motor for 15 ft Whaler Sport

    I am on a lake with a 60 hp limit and want to buy a motor for my 15 ft Whaler Sport. My highest priority is power for waterskiing (slolom). Reliability is the next priority. I am comparing Yamaha vs. Merc. And, 2 vs 4 stroke. How would you rank these 4 combinations? thanks
