    Age of twin mercurys

    Hi, I've finally managed to find the serial numbers of my engines (should keep the insurance company happy) but now they need to know the ages. They are both 75hp and one is clearly older than the other. Serial numbers are 9847778 (older one) and 9945921 (newer one). Can anyone help me? :%

    Where is the serial number

    Hi, I have just bought a 75hp 2-stroke Mercury. The age is approximately 1998 but the serial number sticker from the mounting bracket has gone. Is the serial number anywhere else on the engine, can't seem to find any core/welch plugs...please help

    Uprating from 8hp to 15hp

    Hi, I've just bought a Mariner 8hp sailmate 2004, and I've been told that the engine is the same for 6, 8, 9.9, 10 and 15hp versions and is basically a Tohatsu engine. How do I go about uprating to a 15hp. I presume I have to adjust the carbs or fit new jets but am not sure... :%
