I lost my RIB and am going to get a simple inflatable. Problem is that the 1989 9.9hp Evinrude is too much. Fellow at my marina wants to swap his 1995 5hp Nissen for my 9.9 Evinrude. What say you?...even swap or does he fork over some green my way? Tell me what you think.
Great site! I bought a 1989 9.9hp Merc. Cleaned the carb out, bought new hoses, fresh gas and oil, and replaced the plugs. She runs okay, but is very difficult to start. Any suggestions to help an old man out before his arm is thrown out?
