    I need a good shop manual for my 1985 185 hp Johnson. I'd like something as dedicated to that motor as possible. I've delt with automotive manuals that try to cover to many models in one book, they tend to be vauge. Any help would be appriciated.

    slight elec. shock felt thru. control handle???

    I can feel a slight elec. shock coming thru my throttle / for.- rev. lever when ever my hands are wet and I activate the power tilt/trim button. This is on my 1985 185 hp Johnson.     185 hp Johns. spark plug ????

    My 1985 815 hp Johnson currantly has AC M40FFX plugs. They are gapped at about.042. Is this the correct gap, and is there a better plug for my motor.

    replacing warning buzzer

    Any one know where I might get the replacement buzzer for my 1985 185hp Johnson. $50.00 from the dealer, seems like I could find this part somewhere cheaper. Dhadley thanks for the input its sure enough sound advice. What about a water temp guage to go along with the buzzer for my outboard?

    Im looking for the round hockey puck looking warning buzzer that go's under the control cover for my 185 Johnson. The boat shop here wants $51.00 for the OMC part. Where can I find something similar for alot less?

    warning buzzer

    Im trying to find a replacement heat/oil warning buzzer for my 185 Johnson. The buzzer is mounted under the control cover with the ignition and kill switch. Its about 1 1/2" in dia. and 1" high. The OMC dealer wants $52.00 Im sure theres got to be a cheaper replacement out there.

    Just had carbs, and some other work done on my boat. Sonny's Marine in Port O'Connor,Tx. did a excellent job, and went way out of their way to make sure my boat was opperating at its full potential. Their customer service was abov and beyond.
