i recently bought new bearings for my little trailer. they don't slide on easily like i thought they would. am i supposed to pound them on? do i fill them with grease and then use the axle (with the lug bolts on it) and pound them on?
I have a small boat trailer that was imported from taiwan (1993). Both tires have play in them but they don't get hot after a 180 mile drive. I pulled the cotter pin and removed the big nut to get to the bearings but they won't slide off like i was expecting. Both wheels are the same...the hub...
