IR thermometer wouldn't read above 100° on the heads at idle on muffs. Going to replace the thermostat and springs and go from there. Thanks for the suggestion.
Potential points of water incursion that would affect all three cylinders?
Head gasket bad enough to leak into all three cylinders would likely show at least some variance in compression, no? Would powerhead base gasket leak show mostly on the bottom cylinder? Crankshaft seal?
Glass jar fuel...
Looking for some insight on a 1994 Johnson 60hp triple (J60TTLERS) that has a rough idle but runs great everywhere else.
Compression: ~125 PSI even across all 3 cylinders.
Spark: Strong. Snaps a 7/16" jump from all three coils.
Fuel: Not running lean as far as I can tell. Holding the primer...
