    Trailer wheel bearings - standard or stainless

    Lots of grades of SS some rust some don’t. I never knew trailer bearings are available in SS. I’ve never pulled a rusty bearing out but I’m not on salt water. I’m just greasing my old bearings because they seem too be ok and I’m afraid of the quality of new ones.

    Upgrades for 92’ 25hp Johnson to gain some more speed!

    Use a SS prop. I got 2mph more and it doesn’t get affected by more weight in the boat as much as aluminum prop did.

    What’s the weight of a 140hp Suzuki? Or what’s the lightest engine in 100 to 150hp. I’d take a 360lb 125hp engine over a 480lb 150hp. You have to check the different brands. That said some boats need max hp.

    Honda BF20HP maximum revs

    All I can tell you is I’ve run a three blade aluminum 11 pitch vs a SS 11 pitch and the SS was way better. (3mph top speed and hole shot). On a 1200lb total weight aluminum and it goes 25mph.
