    I have this 99 25hp I recently bought. Initial issue was a damaged stator wire, which I repaired with a heat shrink crimp, I intend to replace the stator. The plugs look clean, maybe on the lean side if anything, but definitely not black and built up, and not chalk white. it goes through spurts...
