    Water Pump Kit N/A?!

    1998 5HP Yamaha O/B I need to replace the impeller in this engine. Normally I've ordered a water pump kit that includes all the seals. However, I can only find the impeller itself for this engine. Am I missing something?

    Louvered air intakes on cowling: Important?

    1992 J100STLEND My old engine cowling is pretty beat up and I've founded a replacement that might work. The only difference seems to be that my old engine has louvered air intakes on the each side towards the aft end-- are these important for performance or mostly for looks?

    Teleflex Temp Gauge Reads Low

    Gasket Sealing Compound for Trim Tab?!

    1992 J100STLND. I'm reinstalling the trim tab and noticed that the factory manual calls for gasket sealing compound on the bolt that holds it in. As far as I can tell, the tapped hole is blind on the end-- any idea why / if I really need to go pick up some gasket sealing compound for this?

    Normal Water Pressure for J100STLND

    I'm going to add a water pressure gauge to my 1992 100GT (J100STLND). I have a choice of a 0-15PSI or a 0 to 30PSI gauge. Any thoughts on what the better range would be?

    Help ID'ing OMC 100

    I've got a 1992 Johnson 100GT (J100STLEND).<br /><br />I’m trying to purchase some parts and need to know if this is a cross-flow, loop-charged 90-degree V, loop-charged 60-degree V, or something very different. Is there some obvious way for me to determine this?
