    Honda 4 stroke 45 hp problem, need help

    I just purchased a pontoon boat with a 45 Honda 4strk motor. the motor doesn't seem to want to idle very well hot or cold. Idles around 400 rpms and sometimes dies. I have to use the choke lever too keep in running. my question is, is there an idle screw on this motor or should i be looking at...

    mercury Outboards, what do i need to know

    I am in the market now for a new boat, possibly a nitro or triton. Buying new i would be getting a mercury 90 or 115 ELPTO 2 stroke. buying used, i am not sure but most likely a Merc outboard.     Old Mercury problems..

    I have a 1964-65 Mercury 20 hp outboard. I think it was the Merc 200 made by Keifer.. i just found out i have scored cylinders and it won't run correctly. Is this thing worth fixing? I am not sure what scored cyl are. Or should it be junked?
