    OMC 351 h.o. ECA problems?????

    "Smokey" 351 H.O., anybody!!!!!

    1994 omc 351 ho 5.8l. Model # 58FBDPMDA. Smokes mostly on idle, dark smoke. Had it hooked up to a computer, got this readings:<br />Engine running: 116 - 172 - 327 - 538<br />Not running: 327 - 553 - 565 - 542 - 556 - 559<br />Anybody???

    "Rattle noise" in 351!!!

    OMC 351 5.8 efi 1993. Was out today and heard a "rattle"noise in the front part of the engine, only at lower rpm, could this be a water pump sign??

    Looking for part !!!!

    351 efi 5,8l king 1993. Part 0914484/3853249, this is a ancher/bracket for the shift assembly to hold the gear cable to the interrupter arm. Have had no success trying to find this part.Anybody????

    "Smokey" 351efi 1993, anybody??

    Have a 1993 351 5,8l efi w/omc cobra. When idle, it tend to smoke, mostly white smoke with maybe 20% black smoke. This only happens at idle. Idles little bit erraticly, 600-800 rpm!!!!! Runs fine in the rest of the rpm range. Compression is good, changed fuel injectors and a fuel distributor...

    OMC COBRA SHIFT PROBLEMS!!

    Have a 1993 351 5.8 efi with omc cobra(mod#987346, ser#T0762434). No shift problems on land(w/mufs of course and tilted up a little). When in water almost impossible to get in neutral. If I stop the engine and then start it up in neutral, it goes in to gear easely, but hard to get back in...
