    50 hp 1986 mariner starter problems

    the engine starts fine, that is not the problem. when i go to turn off the motor, the motor turns off but the starter keeps on spinning. the only way to stop the starter is disconnecting the battery. i think that it is the ignition switch?

    1985 mariner 50 hp water coming out of top of motor

    water is coming out of the top of the motor, the peehole is working, it appears that there is a safty release at the top...impeller?<br />ser # obo95247<br />the engine appears to be running fine...thanks
