I have an early 80's 50 hp Merc inline 4 electric ignition. It has weak spark in 1&2. 3&4 are fine. I have swapped HT leads and they are OK. I would think it unlikely 2 coils would fail at the same time. Can I test the switchbox with a DVM or do I need the Quikcksilver really extravagant...
