Reviving a 12 year old thread as this original poster describes the symptoms I'm having with my 2002 5.7 GXi with DP-A drive. During low speed maneuvers I get an intermittent "shimmy" which is quite pronounced, in both the steering wheel and the transom of the boat. Feels like a spinning shaft...
