    When I bought this boat I was told it ran.Worked on it most of the summer before I got to the motor. It fired once then died. No spark since.Opened distribe, full of corrosion. Changed cap rotor, sensor and coil. No spark.May have shorted new sensor. I think I may just go with the Delco EST...

    This is a 1984 Mercruiser thunderbolt ignition. The old sensor had terminals. No connectors.Wired from terminal to module. Just trying to figure if the red stripe from module goes to the red pigtail. Just trying to be sure. Already shorted one sensor. Thank-you

    This is aftermarket. Sensor has white plgtail, red plgtail and the 3/8" ring.Not sure if the white wire with red stripe from module goes to red or white pigtail.

    Hello, I just recieved my second pick-up sensor. Not sure how to wire. Sensor has red and white wires. ignition module has white with red stripe and white with green stripe. Thank-you.
