    I got the kit from carb junkys. The guy I spoke to was very knowledgeable and I believe he posts on this forum. As I posted above, I don't have a carb shop around or anyone to learn from apart from youtube, which I watched multiple videos of before I attempted the rebuild and during the rebuild.

    It's already been rebuilt and the boat is running better with the exception of this issue. I was told not to buy new since it would take a lot of adjustment to tune the carb to my motor. I have no wish to spend four or five hundred if it's a simple adjustment.

    Honestly, I don't know. The last time I had it out, I didn't notice a bog when hammering down from idle. I noticed a slight hold at about 2800-3000 rpm when accelerating under full throttle but after that mark it accelerated fine. I usually don't cram the throttle anyway, and if I accelerate...

    Scott, checked this today. Linkage is tight and no lag. Accel pump seems to be working right and I see solid squirts of gas when throttle is advanced. Don't have a Schrader valve on my fuel line to measure pressure so I'll have to figure something else out but the pump is working fine. Spark...

    I'll check the accel pump linkages on Monday. Float levels were set when I rebuilt the carb but I guess I can recheck them, which way do I need to go with them? Spark plugs were new, I'll pull some on Monday as well. How do I measure fuel pressure?

    Not usually. I'll give it gas with the throttle and put it back in neutral. It may take a few more cranks but not nearly what I've been experiencing

    I believe it is the 4 barrel carb. Is there a way to fix this or should I replace the carb with a different one? I'm not a mechanic by any means, I can do small things but rebuilding a carb is way above my level.

    I have a cheap one which lights up. Each plug is lighting while cranking. Is there a way that I can see the color or do I need a different tester? Plugs look good, not burnt.
