I have a 7.5 merc ser. # 5848372, that died at idle. <br />Since then, there is no spark to either cyl. It went suddenly, so I suspect the primary ignition. I checked the stator and trigger with a VOM and the two coils of the stator were the same. approx 820 ohms each. total is approx 1700...
