    Clutch position is out of adjustment

    I have a 1988 dt65. When the shift cables are disconnected I can manually shift into forward and reverse gears. However, in order for the gears to be in neutral I must push the clutch arm (on the motor) about a 1/2 inch toward reverse. It seems to me that neutral should be "in-the-middle"...

    dt65 low power when planing

    I have a 1988 dt65 that runs fine out of water; however, when in the water, engine loses power when trying to plane out, and then stalls. when running at WOT, there are no problems.I have had carbs rebuilt.Do they just need adjustment?
