I have an old but decent shape Holsclaw I'm getting ready to haul to Fla. There was no washer under castle nut as I'm used to, but it appears to have been manufactured that way. The axle is slightly too short to get a washer and cotter pin in. The attached photo shows the back of the nut...
I have the same question, I have an old but decent shape Holsclaw I'm fixing up to haul to Fla. No washer under castle nut as I'm used to, but appears to have been manufactured that way. You can't get a cotter pin in with a washer under it.
Can anyone verify if they came this way?
