    Ok well I found a local Boat repair shop who is looking the entire boat over for me to make sure is is water ready, I do not really want to call the Fire Department to come rescue my stranded but out on the water my first time out , LOL

    I think I would agree 2 inches does not make a foot lol . we held a tape next to the boat eyed up the front and back and we got like 8foot 11 inches but alot of that was eye balling the ends of the boat so we could be off a few inches.

    I am thinking you may be right on the DV part , after looking at different boats on line this boat is pretty deep .

    It has a 5.7 ,( I believe its a Chevy Motor ) and the Out Board part is a OMC that is all I have been able to figure out at this point .
