    All the carbs were rebuilt ,plugs ,wires,motor was went thru is what he said the shop did. When i first start it it kinda sounds like a intermittent back fire thru carb or something i can hear air pressure till it warms up then it stops .its a 89 johnson 150 gt

    I have a 1989 fiberglass Bass tracker 18 ft boat with a 150 Johnson GT when I started it's like popping back pressure like through the carbs or something almost like backfiring you can hear pressure . Is this normal or what the guy I got the boat from had everything rebuilt in it

    How do i charge my batteries on my 89 bast tracker 1800 fiberglas .

    It has a switch up by the trolley motor three position switch the top position says 12:24 charge the middle says 12:24 run the bottom says 12 run how does how do I charge the batteries are they automatically charged when I'm driving them the gas motor

    Well tried the carbs ,cleaned main jet still did it, so i said screw messing with this cant use it .so i sold it for 2500.00 and bought a 89 bass tracker 1800 fiberglass tournament fisher for 3000.00 that had everything replaced new in motor and lowe unit,new axle, hubs,rims ,tires, ,trailer is...

    Its been raining all day here in st louis, but i really hope its as simple as main jet. Hopefully tomorrow i can get it out. Would it be easier for me just to buy new carb and bolt it on instead if rebuikd kit.

    Ill try that ,i just bought the boat 3 weeks ago,he started it on muffs. When i start it it will rev up when i pull the lever up /choke lever on the controls.
