    Hi, I've found that my floor is wood encapsulated in fiberglass. There is no wood, that is what confused me. Or at least it doesn't look like wood.

    Just thought I'd post an update. My neighbor was right, and the blocks in the back were wood blocks covered in fiberglass. I got them out with a hammer and prybar. Before and after photos.

    I pulled up the carpet in my 1978 Thundercraft Magnum boat. What is the best adhesive remover to clean the fiberglass floor? I was looking at Goo Gone Power Pro. Opinions?

    Thanks so much, Chuck. I talked to my brother and he mentioned fiberglass over wood. This is so helpful, I was afaid I'd have to install a plywood floor. But he said I'm better off with the fiberglass, I can just recarpet. I'm also glad to hear that I can bolt into the floor. Any suggestions...
