I recently replaced the lower unit in my 2015 8 hp Yamaha. After doing so, the exhaust sounds really loud. like its escaping somewhere before it gets to the prop.
it seems like the water is coming up and out on the back of the shaft where the two holes are where the excess pumped water is...
