    Adding power tilt/ trim?

    I have an 82 Evinrude 70, long shaft. I am curious about what it would take to add a power tilt/ trim. There is a dampener(?) shock on the back of the motor, and it looks like all I would have to do is add a hydraulic tilt ram. The motor bolts to the transom and is not a "clip-on." Anyone know...

    Using a hoist with an old boat?

    I have an 82 model cobia 15', and am going this weekend to a marina where they have only a hoist, no ramp. I'm a little nervous about lifting the boat w/ the hooks, because it's so old. The boat is in good shape, not rotten, but i'm still apprehensive. Can anyone give me some advice?<br />-Jason

    Fixed 70 evinrude wot stuttering...thanks!

    Thanks for all the suggestions, turned out to be a loose bolt on the coil (grounding wire) that was causing my motor to stutter at wot. Ran like a dream today!
