    The cleaning seems to be successful. Last time I had problem I soaked it in one of the gallon paint can style carb cleaners. This time I just removed all the jets and sprayed with carb cleaner and compressed air blowout. I always keep the tank filled up after each outing. No fuel water separator...

    Also, it is a 2006 model year - so the fuel system should be safe for E10 I think.

    Middle of last summer, I had part-throttle fuel issues. Later it turn into issues idling too. I was able to adjust the idle mixture enough to get it to run but not very good. I put it away for winter, fast forward to this week...it started okay and then later it would die and not even idle...

    Parts to make a tohatsu 8 hp into 9.8 hp?

    Sorry for another one of these posts but I didn't see what I was looking for. Looking at getting a new 4-stroke. Would it be worth it to get a 8hp and then swap parts to get 9.8? What parts would I need? How much would the parts cost? Thanks -Chris

    Difference between 4-5-6 hp 4-strokes?

    My dad just bought a 4hp 4-stroke. Is there a way to convert it to 5hp or 6hp by changing out a few parts or something? It looks like they are all basically the same engine...
