    Power Pack Compatibility 1985-1988 Evinrude 150

    I have no spark on one cylinder on my V6. i have swapped the connector to a known good coil and still nothing, so i am assuming this is a power pack issue. I have a 1988 power pack and my question is, will this work on the 1985? I dont know if it matters but the stators are slightly different...

    Currently working on a 1985 Evinrude 150 (E150STLCOH 1985), and i recently found out that the STBD head needs replacement. I have a line on parts from a running 1988 Johnson 150 (J150TLCCA 1988). Will the cylinder heads from this engine work with my 1985? I believe it will bolt up no problem but...
