    I have a 1993 Mercury 90 hp, 2 stroke, mounted on a 16.5 Pro Sport center console. The steering is pretty stiff and requires a pretty strong hand on the wheel at all times.     Mercury 90hp 2 stroke grinding in reverse

    When I shift to reverse it just grinds. It will go into reverse, but , when I throttle up it starts grinding. Is there an adjustment ( I hope )?
