I just bought this motor and was messing with it. It wouldn't go into reverse so I pushed the shift lever way back and it went into reverse, but now it's stuck in reverse. I dropped the LU and it shifts fine. It's the upper linkage or something jammed... IDK
Any ideas?
I have a '93 force 50 and have found an '85 force 50 for $200 (low compression). It comes with controls and power trim (which I need a pump for mine). Do enough parts interchange that this would be a good purchase? I've heard the lowers have changed over the years? Thanks
