I've got an on board VHF radio that does not have GPS.
I have a handheld VHF w/o GPS.
I'm thinking of buying a handheld VHF which has GPS.
This would be for the bailout bag.
What are the advantages to having GPS in a handheld?
I've got a PLB but am not opposed to having a back up.

Someone gave me a used Tempo Products plastic gas tank.
Other than some grit and exterior dirt, it looks fine. A bit faded from sunlight.
I'm going to clean it up and pressure/leak test it.
