I just picked up a 2016 Starcraft Freedom 180. It has a 12-24 volt Marinco plug and receptacle for hooking up a bow mount trolling motor. Does anyone know how to hook up the motor to the plug and the four wires from the receptacle to the deep cycle batteries?
Has anyone casted and figure 8ed for Muskiesout of the bow and or back of a Freedom 180 and what was your experience? Was it easier or more difficult being that low in a boat? Would it be easier by adding a raised casting platform?
