    1965 Merc110 9.8hp recoil starter

    I'm finally getting around to repairing my recoil starter. Having issues removing the sheave shaft nut. Does any one have any pointers? When I turn it, it does not loosen, it only rotates.

    32-30850 fuel line Merc 110

    Does any one know the brass fitting sizes on 32-30850 fuel line. I just cleaned and rebuilt the carb only to find out that the fuel line from the pump to carb has a large leak. I mic'd the thread and got slightly over 10mm. I assume they are 3/8" NPT thread.

    Does anyone have any info on how to replace the recoil starter spring on a '65 merc110? I need to disassemble the starter and cannot find anything regarding how to do it.

    1965 Merc110 9.8hp cylinders/plug wires

    I recently purchased this outboard and replaced the plugs on the engine. Question is, which plug wire goes to which plug? One of the wires from the stator has a white sleeve near the plug head. Does this go on the top or bottom cylinder? Thanks in advance for any help on this.
