I have a 2001 15hp merc and the trim is jammed. Its set up so when its in forward you can raise it up but its jammed down and will only budge an inch. I tried to raise if up and saw some metal shavings on the left side by the trim lock unlock. I haven't had a chance to take it off the dinghy...
