    I was woundering what type and # plugs should be in this 1979 johnson 70 hp.It has automotive plugs in it now,does'nt seem to run too bad but would rather be running the propper plugs..

    fuel oil ratio johnson 70hp

    I was woundering if anyone knew what the fuel oil ratio is on my 1979 70hp 3cyl johnson.I am currently mixing at 40:1 but seems to oily.

    1979 johnson 70hp wont throttle up

    I have recently purchased a 14 foot speed boat with a 70 hp johnson.Motor has not run since last year.With little work it started.Took it to the lake and would not throttle up very well all the time but every once in a while with the throttle wide open it would take off and fly accross the lake...
